Compensation:  up to $120-$130K + 8-12% Bonus (Paid 2x/Yr: H1, H2) + Stock Options

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Marketing Manager/Director of Marketing. The Sr. Marketing Manager/Director will be a hands-on leader who will oversee one or more direct reports. To be successful in this role, you will have broad marketing experience with expertise in lead generation (enterprise & SMB/MM), content creation, events management, effective marketing campaigns, marketing tech stack, video, design, and other areas of general marketing experience.  You will implement best practices and procedures while building a team that scales all while ensuring that we are cultivating and driving campaigns targeted towards high value customers. 

ROLE-SPECIFIC ABILITIES

Demand Generation:

  • Develop and implement demand generation strategies and campaigns
  • Optimize the lead nurturing process to improve conversion rates, reduce churn, and increase customer lifetime value
  • Own events playbook & management, including maintaining events calendar and registrations, managing pre- and post- event marketing, coordinating booths, collaborating with the team to ensure timely speaker session submissions
  • Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships and promote the company

Sales Enablement and Partnership:

  • Build and manage account-based marketing campaigns that align with our overall strategy
  • Collaborate closely with sales to support targeted account-based marketing to accelerate engagement and velocity metrics through the sales funnel.

Content:

  • Understand & Capture the “voice of customer” to incorporate into all things CourseKey
  • Research, write, and copy-edit weekly SEO optimized blog articles in the appropriate style, voice, and tone
  • Research and write sales/marketing content, including ebooks, infographics, whitepapers, video scripts, webinars, and one sheets.
  • Collaborate with the CRO on building, maintaining, and executing the content calendar

Digital Marketing:

  • Support social media presence leveraging our brand voice, building brand awareness, and growing our audience base across Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok and Instagram
  • Prepare and execute email campaigns and nurturing streams to generate leads and customer loyalty
  • Prepare and maintain CRM mailing lists for marketing campaigns
  • Email planning, list pulls, segmentation, email development, scheduling and deployment, A/B testing, post-campaign analysis, and performance reporting

Strategy, Leadership, Data & Collaboration

  • Collaborate internally and externally to support campaigns/initiatives, including key messaging and design requirements
  • Hires, leads, mentors, and cultivates a high-impact, high performing team.
  • Effectively use data to inform future decisions (for example: executing a win/loss analysis to inform decision making)
  • Provide support of HubSpot CRM/data quality efforts
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and success partners to conceptualize, build, and maintain email programs that fulfill customer needs and business objectives
  • Interface with customers to capture the “voice of customer”
  • Strategic Thinking & Planning – Lead annual and quarterly marketing planning and budgeting with CRO

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years building, running, and managing full-funnel B2B technology marketing campaigns. Prefer Start-Up through Mid-market experience
  • A successful track record of having managed, mentored and coached marketing teams
  • Ability to prioritize projects that will have the biggest impact for the Company.
  • Detail oriented and data and metrics minded.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • You have an appetite to stay knowledgeable about content trends and best practices
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and have a track record for successfully managing multiple projects at once without missing deadlines
  • An ability to excel in a distributed work environment
  • Experience building, testing, and managing email campaigns within HubSpot is a plus
